ICCOTP promotes standards of excellence in delivering online training in a wide variety of formats by instituting a certification process for online trainers. The COTP certification process aims to ensure that training events and classes offered online provide high‐quality, memorable, enjoyable, and, most of all, effective learning experiences to participants and students.
